At Selby Dental Care our team are experts in creating high quality bespoke dentures, whether you have missing teeth or require a new set, we will design and construct your dentures here at our Selby practice, as everything is developed at our in- house laboratory.
Our highly trained and experienced clinician Mr Guscott, gained his qualifications at the Royal College of Surgeons (England). Out of a group of 30 people that recently completed the renowned ‘Clinical Dental Technician’ Diploma at the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (England), Mr Guscott was the number 1 in the country, so you can rest assured you are receiving the best, when you choose us as your bespoke dentures providers.
Often denture wearers are unhappy with the appearance and fit of their dentures and require a more natural look and feel, Mr Guscott can assist in creating a set of bespoke dentures that you will be happy with. We provide you with a complete service that involves consultation, fitting and any aftercare appointments that you require.
After the initial consultation and treatment plan, we will take a mould from your upper and lower jaw which will be used to create a perfect fit for your dentures. We will then ensure that the shape, size and colour of your teeth are exactly how you have requested. All teeth are made from the best hard- wearing and stain resistant material giving them a completely natural look. We can secure your denture in place with the help of dental implants to improve the bite, and confidence in your smile.
Looking After Your Dentures
Removing your dentures every night and placing them in cold water is vital in looking after your bespoke dentures, this helps give your gums a rest, exposing them to natural saliva. If you do want to wear them at night, ensure you brush your tongue and gums with a soft toothbrush twice daily. It is important to regularly visit your dentist to help maintain your dentures, so that they can be professionally cleaned, and well adjusted.
